OMG

Over lunch, I came up with another great theme day: DEVO.  Dress in all black, wear my glasses [they are black and plastic and mighty, mighty thick]

I’m almost embarassed at how awesome the idea is.

Or Mike Myers’s “Sprockets” character.

I might need to compile a list into fives, then plan a theme day for each workday, taking weekends off.

If anyone knows where I can get a Devo hat to complete my new idea, let me know.

What the hell did we do before we hat the Internet?

The idea of making every day at work Halloween is awesome. Please post some pix!

By the way…what do you do for a living, anyway?

  2. That’s perfect!!

I’ll try to remember to get someone to snap my photo on these days. I’ll probably reput on my outfit from yesterday for the Count of Monte Cristo photo.

I work in the registries and epidemiology [late-phase] division of a clinical research organization. It’s mainly pregnancy registries where we follow exposed mothers who are on already-approved drugs. Sounds boring, but it’s actually pretty interesting.

Doesn’t sound boring at all — in fact, I’d love it if you’d come and contribute to my blog and tell everyone about your job. I think your writing is great and you seem like the kind of person who MAKES her job cool, rather than the other way ’round. http://jimsmuse.wordpress.com

Oh, and don’t forget to follow up DEVO day with “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” Cyndi Lauper day.

    😉
